Welcome!
Thank You for stopping by to learn more about the group
coaching programs I offer for Virtual Assistants. If you're an
aspiring VA and you've done your research, you're beginning to understand
just how tough it is to make it in the "virtual world." If
your virtual assistance practice has been in business for less than two years
and you still don't have any clients, I'm sure your frustration level is
stratospheric.
Before we jump into the topic at hand, coaching for virtual assistants, I
want to take a few minutes to give you my story:
Picture the
Scene: The Year 2000:
I'm living in San Francisco and working hard as a
computer engineer; a very solid career and a good education have
catapulted me to success. I've got amazing friends, a cute apartment
steps from Ocean Beach and the wonders of the Bay Area at my fingertips.
So far so good, right? Just wait ... we're in for a bumpy ride!
On January 18th of that same year, I went to work as usual. Loving
life, feeling good and knowing my work for my clients was top-notch.
Little did I know that later that same day, my life would change forever.
As the business day was coming to a close, the owner of the last company for
which I worked called me into his office and dropped the bomb on me:
He was laying off nearly 75% of his company, and I was included in that
number. If you recall the state of American business during this
time frame, you'll remember the "dot bomb" phase was in full effect;
indeed, it seemed as though no one was making money and no one was
spending money. I didn't take this layoff personally, for I
understood he was doing what he had to do to ensure the longevity and good
health of his
company. Nevertheless, when you've gone through a downsizing or two
(or four!), you start to realize it's time to leave the
relative safety of Corporate America behind and venture out on your own.
And that, dear reader, is exactly what I did.
Picture the
Scene: The Year 2008:
Eight glorious, wonderful, frustrating and amazing years later, and I've kept
the promise I made to myself on January 16, 2000, that being to never
return to Corporate America. Ever. My entrepreneurial spirit
and brain are in overdrive, my company is a success and I'm living my
version of the American Dream. How you define success is as unique,
special and individual as you are! My Success means I'm
calling all the shots, I cherry-pick DavisVA.com's clients, and I take all
the good and bad stuff which comes into play when you're a business owner.
My Success means I'm the Big Kahuna, the Boss Lady, the Head Chick
in Charge. My Success, on all levels, means I must give back to my community
by coaching and mentoring upstart and established Virtual Assistants who
want what I've got. My Success means I'm doing things my way,
I'm surrounding myself with a killer team, and my life is truly my
own.
Now ... It's Your Turn!
Let's flip this around and talk about you! Why
do you want to be a Virtual Assistant? Are you sick and tired of
bosses who have no clue what they're doing? Maybe you've been pushed
out of your job, as I was? Are you itching to see what's really out
there, and to put your talents and entrepreneurial nature to the test?
Talk to me:
Do me a favor
and tell me, right now,
why you want to be a VA.
Vent as much as you want ... I'm all ears!
Virtual Assistant MasterMind (VAMM): What it is, what it isn't,
and how it might benefit you and your dreams.
VAMM is
a 6-month virtual group coaching program for folks who are considering launching
their own Virtual Assistance practice, or for VAs already in business who've
reached some plateau. VAMM participants are looking for the hardcore
and practical advice of what it truly takes to launch, and maintain, their
own virtual business.
VAMM isn't
for folks who are looking for me to hand over the keys to store.
Quite the contrary! If you want what I've got, I'm going to make you
work for it. I expect nothing less than 100% of you and that's
exactly what you'll get from me, 100%. I value input, honest and
integrity, coupled with a solid work ethic. I value an inquisitive
mind and an aggressive nature. I value you, your hard work, and all
the dreams and success you want to achieve.
VAMM is
for those folks who want to learn from someone who's been in business
virtually for eight years. VAMM is a good fit for you because a
majority of the coaching is conducted online via the VAMM Forums, with one
30-minute coaching call each month of the six month program. VAMM is a good
fit for you because you'll have a buddy with whom you'll work during the
entire program. VAMM is a good fit for IF you want what I've got.
VAMM isn't
for fence-sitters and lazy people! Together, we'll work hard during
the entire six month program, and we'll play just as hard as we work.
If you're a wall-flower, VAMM is not for you.
VAMM is
the place to learn about marketing, acquiring clients, and the tools of
the virtual trade. It is the place to share your thoughts, feelings,
doubts and concerns, in a confidential and non-threatening atmosphere.
It is the place to learn what it takes to really make it in the Virtual
Assistance industry from someone who's been in the game for eight years
and counting.

Finally, thank you again for visiting me
on the web and spending part of your day with me! My goal in
offering the Virtual Assistance MasterMind program is to give you access
to me, a professional and full-time Virtual Assistant and VA Coach, and to
do so economically. I know many folks who need coaching can't afford
the hourly fees I charge, nor do they want to invest thousands of dollars.
VAMM group coaching is heavily discounted and gives you full access to me,
as well as to the knowledge and experiences I've acquired in my eight years in business. I know how much you want this, and I also
know you need support, guidance and answers.
I am your biggest fan, and I get a kick when anyone decides to launch
their own business! As long as you're willing to give me everything
you've got, I'll do the exact same thing for you. Remember, you've
got one shot at life and it's up to you to put your plans into motion.
As you're considering making the investment in VAMM as part of those
plans, do not hesitate to pick up the phone and dial my digits.
Here's to your success!
Kind regards,
Lori Davis
